The Main Event is the first real mission after the prologue mission Clearing the Way. You will be taking on Wilson Fisk the Kingpin in this mission. As it is an early mission in the game, it will also be taking you throughout the combat mechanics of the Spider-Man.
In this guide, we are going to cover the complete mission of The Main Event and how to defeat Kingpin.
When the mission starts Spider-Man will arrive at the Fisk tower, he will be helping the police with the mob there. After you’ve defeated the enemies, you will have to find a way inside the Fisk tower. After you’ve reached inside the tower more mob enemies will appear and you will have to fight those. You will get to perform a new move called Zip to Point you’ve to press both left + right click to perform Zip to Point. Spidey will swing towards the balcony above where the enemies are shooting from.
There will be a cutscene and you will have to climb to a lift shaft and you will get in. You will get from there into a vent at the top of it and you will have to crawl and there will be a drop there, you’ve to drop there and you’re good to go. You will reach into the hall with multiple floors, you will have to fight a lot of mob members there. After you’ve cleared the hall area from Fisk’s men, you will have to follow the waypoint again and you will have to jump to another vent and move through the vents again.
This time there will be enemies standing right below the drop, you will get the option to perform Takedown. Simply perform the Takedown on the enemies below and you will reach into the server room. There will be a timer countdown on the screen in the server room, you will have to clear the server room from enemies before it hits 0. More enemies will come after you’ve stopped the timer.
A bomb will blast and a cutscene will trigger where spidey will save the civilians. There will be QTE triggers where you will have to press and mash the buttons to make your way out of the debris. Now you will have to again have to use vents and you will reach the upper level to another hall area. There will be enemies with RPGs there and you will have to roll, jump or use your webs in order to dodge the rockets. You will have to clear the area. More enemies will appear, and there will be armored enemies with shields. You will have to first break the shield cover and then attack the enemies again in order to defeat the enemies with a shield. After you’ve cleared the hall from the enemies there you will have to go through the doors and you will reach the Fisk boss fight.
There will be turrets in the pillars when you walk past the main doors, you will have to mash R1 a few times and spidey will web the turrets and it won’t be able to shoot. You can then press L1 + R1 together and spidey will grab the turret and will through it away.
After you’ve moved on you will be back in another one of the main halls and you will be fighting Wilson Fisk. You have to fight him like you’ve been fighting other mob enemies but he can counter your normal attacks. You would have to web up Fisk by using R1 and then he wouldn’t be able to block your attacks and then attack Fisk. You can use your combat combos on Fisk when he’s webbed up.
After you’ve given enough damage to Fisk, he will call in his mob members and they are a lot. You will have to fight the mom members first, then you should move to Fisk. After you’ve defeated all the mob members. You can use the same strategy to web up Fisk so, that he can’t block your attacks and then hit him with special spidey combos.
When Fisk has been low in health, he will grab Spider-Man and there will be a few QTEs on the screen you will have to correctly do the QTEs and there will be a QTE in the last where you will have to press the button where a big blue circle closes in the button. You will have to press it right and Spidey will web towards fisk and throw him a punch on which Fisk will fall from the bridge and smash from the window but spidey will use his webs and capture him and catch him up in his webs and Fisk will go down. Police will capture and take away Fisk. The Mission The Main event will end.

Thymesia has different questlines with each area having its main Boss. There are also side bosses as well and side quests of course for certain areas. God of the Fools is one of the very first options side bosses. It is from the first chapter Sea of Trees region. The side bosses are not very hard but are there as you’re exploring a certain region or area. You can use plague weapons and test them in your fight as well.
In this guide, we are going to cover how you can easily defeat the side-boss God of the Fools. You will be facing God of the Fools at the end of the level Sea of Trees.
God of the Fools is like a big Skeleton demon God and you can’t really get close to him to attack him or deal any damage. You will be on a three-floored platform and there will be few enemies you will have to fight your way to reach the upper level of the platform in order to reach the God of the Fools. There will be a poison sac which is like a big cluster of poison. You can destroy them, to clear the toxic smoke. You will reach a ladder; you have to use the ladder to get up to the second level. There will be more enemies on the platform. You have to kill them and clear the area and destroy another one of the Poison sacs. There will be fairy-like enemies which can fly dash and throws daggers at you and you will have to roll and dodge their attacks and then counter-attack them.
After you’ve cleared the second level of the platform, you will reach another ladder at the end of the level. You’ve to climb up the ladder and you will reach the third level of the platform. There will be another poison sac and a few enemies. You will have to kill the enemies and then destroy the poison sac. There will be a passage to your right with another ladder leading to the top of the platform. You’ve to climb up and you will reach a broken bridge area. You’ve to get past the bridge and you will reach just the level of the God of the Fools. There will be an open platform that will be facing the God of the Fools.
You have to press click there will be a red icon appearing, A cutscene will trigger where your character will jump on to the boss God of the Fools and will stab with the sword, and God of the Fools will scream and die falling into the big pit around the platform.
You will get Forgotten Feather, Fool’s God’s Core which is a legendary story item. You will also get Thyme as an ingredient and Fool’s Punch skill shard.

Halberd is one of the earlier weapons in the game and it is best for a couple of reasons. With the Halberd, you’ll be able to knock down the enemy to the ground and get multiple hits on the enemy without taking any damage. In addition to that, it scales off of only one attribute and if you get it all the way up to level 20, it’s going to give you a stack of “Offensive” buffs and third Jab sweep attacks that breaks the super armor.
A bow is a really good weapon for a couple of reasons. The Bow does 300 attack damage and 300 wound damage which is a lot and it also serves as an interrupter because if you’re able to hit this one when an enemy does a critical attack, it’s going to interrupt the enemy and deal 300 attack damage and 600 wound damage. Strength increases its casting speed and Plague allows you to apply a bleed effect on the enemies that go overtime.
The scythe is the only weapon that allows you to restore your health and it is absolutely recommended in the early game before you get to unlock the extended version of this weapon. The scythe scales off of one attribute which is the plague. Plague increases the restoration of your health and once you upgraded it to level 20, you’d get a stack of Offensive and Defensive buffs when landing and health are full.
Hammer is one of the hardest-hitting Plague weapons in the game and it deals a ton of damage to the enemies. Once you go to its extended route, you’ll decrease the amount of energy to cast it and it’ll apply an Offensive buff. When you cast it, you’ll get a 75% of damage reduction which makes you almost unhittable.
The whip is one of the hardest-hitting plague weapons in the game. It deals a ton of attack damage and wound damage. It deals 400 attack damage and 400 wound damage and it has a very short cooldown of 6.4 seconds. It also allows you to stack up to 3 offensive buffs. It scales off of Plague attributes which increases its casting speed as well.
The Greatsword is a really good weapon and it allows you to knock the enemy down on the ground for a couple of seconds which gives you time to hit the enemies with multiple hits without taking any damage. This weapon is great for the bosses because bosses get knocked down as well. It does 350 attack damage and 350 wound damage. It scales off of vitality so, you should put some points into the vitality.
The Twin Swords are also a very great weapon as it does a lot of wound damage on the basic attack and on the extended attack when you level them up. You’d want to extend these swords because they’ll deal 240 attack damage and 240 wound damage and with the Plague and Strength attributes maxed, you’d deal an extra 30 attack damage and wound damage with this weapon.
The Giant Sword is the hardest-hitting Plague weapon in the game. It does a ton of damage when you go to its extended route. You’ll unlock a horizontal slash, a third slash, and a jump attack in the extended route which will allow you to do over a thousand percent when you’re using this sword. It scales off of Vitality and Strength but you’d want to spend time on the Vitality because when you upgrade it to level 20, it will reduce the damage taken by 50% while casting it.
The Javelin Sword is a really powerful plague weapon because it doesn’t really need upgrades of its extended route to get the benefits. The only thing you want to unlock it is the cooldown reduction to get it under 10 seconds. It does 240% attack damage and 300% claw damage which is the explosion damage.
For the best combo of weapons, you’d need to equip the Bow and the Javelin sword. You’d melt down all of the enemies and bosses with these two weapons. You can shoot at the enemy with the bow and with the strike with the Javelin sword, the enemy will be done for. You’d take down the bosses from a range with these two weapons as well by dealing a ton of damage with the bow and the claw effect damage with the Javelin sword.
