8:00 a.m. EDT – THE PRESIDENT receives the President’s Daily Briefing

1:00 p.m. EDT – THE PRESIDENT delivers remarks at a Democratic National Committee event

1:50 p.m. EDT – THE PRESIDENT arrives at the White House

8:00 p.m. EDT – THE PRESIDENT and The First Lady host and deliver remarks at a musical performance by music legend and global humanitarian, Sir Elton John | South Lawn

12:50 p.m. EDT – THE VICE PRESIDENT will meet with NAACP young leaders for a conversation about a number of topics critical to young people | Vice President’s Ceremonial Office

Looking ahead: The Vice President will travel to Tokyo, Japan, and Seoul, Republic of Korea, from September 25-29.  The Vice President will lead the U.S. delegation to the State Funeral of former Prime Minister Abe Shinzo of Japan.  In Tokyo and Seoul, the Vice President will meet with senior government officials and civil society representatives to reinforce the United States’ alliances with Japan and the Republic of Korea.
